How does my item come packaged?

The packaging depends on what you ordered. Plans, CNC forms, Kits and other smaller, light-weight items, will be shipped through a standard carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS). Wood Kits and completed boards will be shipped through a freight carrier. Boards will have a custom shipping box built with a lot of cushion for maximum safety in transit.

What if I need help building my board?

When purchasing and building a kit, we try our best to help you along the way. Inside the kit you will find a large manual and a step-by-step instruction booklet to aid in the construction of the SUP. If any help is needed beyond what the literature offers, we encourage you to call or email us – We’d love to help.

What about Refunds?

We don’t offer refunds on any items unless the item you receive is damaged or defective. If you special circumstance, please contact us. We will work with you.

How long do the boards last?

Forever if you take care of it!

Can I place a bulk order?

Of course! We also offer bulk discounts. If you are placing an order for a business, we may offer deep discounts depending on logo placement, order size, retailer, rental, etc. Contact us for more information.

What If I make mistakes when building my SUP and I need more supplies?

We will happily ship a replacement part out. Some of the clear coats, and adhesives can be found at local hardware stores.

Where can I buy a paddle?

We now offer paddle kits to match your SUP.($89)

Can an average person carry a SUP?

Yes. The boards are about the same weight as a comparable foam / plastic board. (28-40 lbs)

How do I maintain my SUP?

After each use in Saltwater, be sure to wash the board off with fresh water, i.e. a hose.

Wax occasionally. lightly sand and revarnish ever couple of years.

Can I surf with these?

While they are not surfboards, they can handle smaller wakes. We have a model (The Metolius) which is designed as a combo board. It don’t do well in 20 footers, but is much easier to carve than our flatwater boards.

How durable are the Cedar Strip SUP’s?

They are very durable and resilient, and they do both those things while looking better than any other SUP you’ve seen!
